how are you guys doing and what is your avg knots with the wind sell of or parachute?
HiRobert, about 6 knots on average. The kite will give us a slight increase in speed but a substantial reduction in power drain.
The below is interesting from an experience viewpoint.
Gain in knots when kite is deployed? Min, max and average.
As well as if the kite alone can pull the yacht in 5 knots or more.
What angle left or right from the centerline of the yacht is effective?
Hi Dennis
At the moment, 30 degrees either side of the wind, but we will keep trying to push the envelope.
