  1. Beautiful! How’s that PMCS (preventive maintenance checks and services) checklist you mentioned putting together coming along?? Also, still no wildlife contact or viewings yet??

    • Like any long passage, we have planned maintenance, all going to plan at the moment. We have seen a few dolphins but very little other marine life.

  2. Be neat to have all this data to graph out energy use, kite assisted speed (with kite angle and wind speed). Great to see this (seems to be) going well. I’ve dreamed about having one of these (closed tri-deck) and crossing the pacific to SCUBA all over Polynesia!

    • Hi Brian, we are collecting the data and will share it shortly. Yesterday, we ran the kite for 6 hours and saved over 90 kWh of energy compared to running at 330 rpm vs 400 rpm without the kite. The kite will only really be used when the wind is from behind, approximately. 20 degrees either side of the stern.
