Epically efficient journey so far!
Thanks Nick
While I know sailing the yacht will be less expensive, how does it compare cost wise to having it loaded onto a carrier and moved to the Caribbean that way? Fuel is cheap but that is a long time to be out in 4 meter seas.
Hi Kevan
If you load a Silent 62 onto a ship to transport it to Fort Lauderdale from Genoa, for example, you would pay around €80k plus any costs of preparation and protection, etc.
We are certainly not dealing with 4m seas but a constant gentle oceanic swell of 3 – 5 metres that comes from behind us.
Our customers don’t want to sail; they wish to motor silently. We still offer the most cost-effective trans ocean crossing of any 60-foot motor-driven vessel ever.
This looks so amazing!
Truly it must be a fantastic journey with the Silent yacht out there.
Thanks Walter
